There’s a new source for corned beef coming to Central Avenue.
Ben’s Restaurant and Kosher Deli, the 40 year old restaurant group, has bought the former Spiga Restaurant site in Greenburgh.
Ben’s is a well-known restaurant with locations in Manhattan, Long Island, Queens and Florida. The new location in Westchester will open around late spring early summer, and it will compete with the two Epstein’s kosher deli locations that will surround it on Central Avenue in Yonkers and Greenburgh.
Robert Dalton, managing partner of RMD Realty Associates, represented the Ben’s Restaurant Group and Eric Goldschmidt of Goldschmidt & Associates, represented the seller. The price was not disclosed.
“After a long search for the appropriate space, this site located on Central Park Avenue, in Scarsdale, represented the perfect fit with over 125 linear feet of frontage, the ability to expand the existing building and large lot offering plenty of on-site parking.,” Dalton said. “Furthermore the location offers easy access for its Westchester customer base as well as Connecticut, Rockland County and The Bronx.

Bloomingdale’s Opens New Store in Westchester
Retailer Signs Long-Term Lease
Bloomingdale’s signed a new long-term lease to occupy the entire 63,973-square-foot building at 2 Saw Mill River Road in Hawthorne, NY. The property that is well known as a central retail site, features high ceiling showroom space and will house Bloomingdale’s furniture and rug outlet for the next 10 years.
Robert Dalton of RMD Realty Associates noted “after experiencing huge success in its White Plains store, Bloomingdale’s considered this property as an ideal location for its loyal Westchester County customers.” Furthermore Dalton acknowledged this as an “easy expansion of its customer base to residents of Connecticut, Rockland County, New Jersey and New York City.”
Dalton represented Bloomingdale’s. William Cuddy of CB Richard Ellis and Eric Goldschmidt of Goldschmidt & Associates represented the landlord, New York Medical College.

The 10,314 sf will be used as showroom and the new corporate New York headquarters of Michael Brandon Enterprises.The tenant was represented by Robert Dalton of RMD Realty Associates, while the seller, The Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts, was represented by Jonata Dayan and Adam Ben-Dayan of Winoker Realty Company.
